About

Hi I’m Nia! I am a law student, a bioethicist, and a proud HBCU alum! While obtaining my Masters of Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania, I studied Ivy-League and Ivy-Plus hospitals and the relationships they have with urban minorities. Currently, I am a second-year at Boston University School of Law and sit on a Institutional Review Board in Boston. I am also the incoming Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Law and Medicine. I am passionate about building bridges in healthcare through mediation, dialogue, and cultural competency. I’m solution oriented, but I’ll ask the hard questions. If you need someone to start the conversation, I’m the woman for the job. So get comfortable – let’s have a chat!
